Insights and Impressions Revealed a Day Before the Highly Anticipated Galaxy Unpacked Event
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra made an unexpected appearance in a pre-announcement unboxing video just a day before the highly anticipated Galaxy Unpacked event. The leaked video, originally posted on X/Twitter by tasty orange and on TikTok by syhtele_Samsung, has since been removed. However, screenshots captured by Phone Arena and a re-upload by Zahar Mobile Review allow enthusiasts to get a glimpse of the device.

The leaked video showcases three variants of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, labeled as Titanium Gray, Titanium Yellow, and Titanium Violet. Notably, the Titanium part of the color names hints at the device featuring a titanium frame, a first for the Galaxy S series. Although previous leaks hinted at a Titanium Black model, it was conspicuously absent in the leaked video.
While the video provides limited insights into the display, previous leaks suggest that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will retain a 6.8-inch OLED panel with a QHD resolution and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. Expectations include a flatter display, narrower bezels, Gorilla Glass Armor for durability, and an enhanced peak brightness.
On the rear, the four cameras of the S24 Ultra resemble those of its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 Ultra. However, notable changes include the replacement of the 10MP 10x camera with a 50MP 5x one, offering a different optical zoom configuration. The higher resolution aims to compensate for the reduced optical zoom, possibly enhancing lossless digital zoom capabilities.
The Galaxy Unpacked event, where Samsung is expected to officially unveil the Galaxy S24 series, is scheduled for tomorrow. While eager enthusiasts can await the official details from Samsung, a plethora of leaks in the past months has already provided key insights into the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Ultra, including features like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and AI-powered software functionalities like live translation and one-tap photo editing.
